Health and safety at JB Engineering (Hatton) Ltd is led by our managing director and managed by our health and safety leads. In addition, we are advised and supported by an external professional health and safety advisor who is Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) trained.
As a company we believe that investment in health and safety promotes employee commitment and wellbeing, increases quality and reduces costs for our customers and JB Engineering, promoting a healthy company statement.
'As a company we strive for 100% customer satisfaction. Because of this we train our staff to the highest level so the client receives a high quality product or service.'
This commitment means a reduction in accidents, incidents, illness, damage to machinery, lost time on jobs and non-compliance with government legislation.
Ultimately our workforce remains healthy, both JB Engineering and our customers are protected from potential litigation, and good standards are promoted within the engineering sector.
We regularly audit, and if necessary update, our systems and procedures, which all adhere to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM). Every year we achieve a number of accreditations such as Avetta Consortium, Avetta SSiP, Alcumus SafeContractor and the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
'We have a proactive approach to incident or accident reporting and will work with you on investigations involving any of our teams or individual team members.'
